On 25 December 2010, Zhaiming Monastery in Taoyuan held the 2010 End-of-Year Philanthropic Party for disadvantaged families living in the neighboring districts of Daxi, Zhongli and Xinchu. More than one thousand people attended the party and received blessings from Zhaiming’s monastics.

On the 10th of September 2010, the Dharma Drum Humanities & Social Improvement Foundation hosted The 2010 Award for Caring Life at the International Convention Hall in the National Taiwan Science Education Centre in Taipei.
On 18 September, 2010, honorable guests from the China’s State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA) headed by Director Zuoan Wang, visited the Dharma Drum Mountain World Center for Buddhist Education in Jinshan Township, Taipei.
On the morning of 11 September 2010, the Dharma Drum Humanities and Social Improvement Foundation hosted the 2010 Forum of Saving Nature with Calm Mind at the Convention Hall of Taiwan’s CPC Corporation Building. This event followed The Forum for Caring Life, which was held on the previous day.
On the morning of 1 September, 2010, The Chung-Hwa Institute of Buddhist Studies, Nung Chan Monastery and Yunlai Monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain were awarded the highest merits by the Department of Civil Affairs of Taipei City Hall for their dedication to assisting disadvantaged people.
Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) hosted a summer camp from 4 to 6 August 2010, in central Taiwan’s Tonshi Township, Yunlin County. Thirty students attended the camp altogether while 63 generous volunteers offered their assistance for the duration of the camp.
Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) hosted a special youth seminar on 14 August 2010 at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education in Jinshan Township, Taipei County.
On 15 August 2010, Ziyun Monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain in Kaohsiung City hosted a basic training course of emergency relief. Fifty-four volunteers participated the training.
The Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) hosted a summer camp, “The Camp for Protecting the Spiritual Environment & Life Education”, from 21st to 24th July, 2010, in Xiushui Township of Sichuan’s Mianyang City, China, with the aim of stimulating young people to think about the meaning of life.
On 28 July 2010, over a hundred university students and teachers from Taiwan and mainland China paid their inaugural visit to the Dharma Drum Mountain World Center for Buddhist Education.
Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) attended the 2010 Aid and International Development Forum (AIDF) held at Washington Convention Center of Washington D.C., United States of America, from 22nd to 23rd July 2010.
