On 25 December 2010, Zhaiming Monastery in Taoyuan held the 2010 End-of-Year Philanthropic Party for disadvantaged families living in the neighboring districts of Daxi, Zhongli and Xinchu. More than one thousand people attended the party and received blessings from Zhaiming’s monastics.

Dharma Drum Buddhist College (DDBC) celebrated its fourth anniversary on 8 April, 2010 at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education in Jinshan Township of Taipei County, showcasing its various achievements in teaching and embarking on a 'Clean Up the Mountain' campaign for beauty on the campus.
Liugui Township in southern Taiwan is one community among the most heavily affected by the flood that occurred in August 2009.

Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) in collaboration with the Quanta Culture and Education Foundation has embarked on a continual effort to provide financial aid for Liugui’s flood-afflicted students, to support them in continuing their education.
In order to raise awareness and familiarity with living a "green" life, Dharma Drum Mountain Buddhist Foundation held a special event at Taipei’s Dharma Drum Degui College on 27 March, 2010.

The Dharma Drum University (DDU) Branch Library was formally inaugurated in Taipei's Xizhi District on 27 March 2010. Library services commenced after Venerable Guo Fang and other monastics of the DDM Sangha Community conducted the Purification Ritual.
Dharma Drum Mountain hosted the Prayer Ritual and the Liang Emperor's Repentance Ritual in honour of the establishment of Baoyun Monastery, from 4 April to 10 April at Feng Chia University in central Taiwan, Taichung City.

On the morning of 19 March, 2010, a delegate of 16 members from the religious group of Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) from Beijing, led by Vice President of ARATS, Mr. Fuqing, Wang, arrived at the Dharma Drum Mountain World Center for Buddhist Education in Jinshan Township, Taipei County, for religious exchange across the strait.
