With the establishment of its Amitabha Chanting Group in 1982, Nung Chan Monastery again attracted more practitioners, including volunteers who helped manage general affairs, set up children’s classes to facilitate their parents to concentrate on practice, and arrange transportation for elderly practitioners. This contributed to the popularization of Buddhist practice in Taiwan.
