DDM Thailand Hosts New Year Prayer Blessing Ceremony
On 3 February 2011, Dharma Drum Mountain in Thailand (DDM Thailand) held a New Year Prayer Blessing Ceremony, for which more than one hundred devoted followers living in Bangkok attended to offer their blessings for the new year 2011.
The Prayer Ritual commenced in the morning and was jointly hosted by Venerable Guo Jie, Venerable Guo Chen and Venerable Guo Chuan from Taiwan’s DDM Sangha Community.
One by one, attendees received gifts and blessings from the monastics and from the President of DDM Dharma Upholders Society in Thailand, Mrs. Miao-Fen Sulin.
Following the conclusion of the event in the afternoon, Venerable Guo Jie filled the attendees with dharma joy with his presentation of a delightful two-hour Dharma talk.
