Followers at DDM Los Angeles give their tribute to Venerable Master Sheng Yen
From 5th to 14th February 2009, faithful followers gathered at the Chan Hall of Dharma Drum Mountain in Los Angeles (DDM Los Angeles) to prostrate to the Sakyamuni Buddha, to participate the Buddha-name Recitation Dharma Rituals and to give the last warmest tribute to Venerable Master Sheng Yen.
Through the Internet video, on 5 February about 60 followers attended in the Chan Hall to simultaneously watch the Encoffin and Sealing the Coffin Ceremony. On 7 February, about 55 followers watched the Cremation Ceremony of the Master. On 14 February, about 85 followers gathered in the Chan Hall to watch the Commemoration and Ash-Burial Ceremony in memory of Venerable Master Sheng Yen.
