Abbot President Visits DDM San Francisco
Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong visited Dharma Drum Mountain in San Francisco (DDM SF) during 2 - 4 November 2012 where he shared his views on how to make and fulfill vows and approach life with gratitude.
The Abbot President explained that the late Venerable Master taught us that life is actually impermanent; things such as personal profit and reputation are only temporary. Therefore the Dharma teaches every one of us to awaken from the illusion so that we may realize the utmost truth in the universe.
Amidst this fast-moving world filled with illusion, the Abbot President encouraged one to deal with all matters with thankfulness, make good vows to benefit other sentient beings, and to avoid making complaints about life so that one can always be full of joy and health and be blessed.
