Abbot President Attends the Rare Disorder Foundation Scholarship Ceremony
The Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong attended a special scholarship ceremony held by the Taiwan Foundation for Rare Disorders at Taipei Howard Hotel on 10 November 2012.
A total of 364 students suffering rare diseases were granted scholarships this year.
In the speech, the Abbot President encouraged every student to understand that life is not easy. However, life could be brighter and blissful if every one of us could be aware of turning an originally negative mind to positive one whilst facing difficulties. In addition to the encouragement, the Abbot President also offered his personal blessing to every student and wishes peace will be with them at all times.
