DDMSWCF Initiates End-of-Year Philanthropic Parties for Disadvantaged Families Across the Country
The Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) kicked off its compassionate campaign of end-of-year philanthropic parties throughout the island for disadvantaged families on 10 December, 2011.
DDMSWCF stated that the first party of the campaign would begin at Taipei’s Nung Chan Monastery on the morning of 10 December and expected that as many as 2,800 disadvantaged households this year would be given presents, including cooking rice, blankets, soy sauce, cooking oil and clothing.
