DDMSWCF Volunteers Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the Elderly
Twenty-five volunteers of Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) from Hsinchu gathered at the Xianleyuan Nursing Home in Hsinchu City on 17 September, 2011, in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The purpose of the visit was distribute materials that had run low in supply to the elderly in Hsinchu, also bringing them happiness and care.
The program was entertaining, including singing and collaboration games. Before bidding farewell, volunteers presented every elderly a Buddhist rosary as a gift for blessing.
