MOFA Gives Gratitude to DDMSWCF’s Humanitarian Efforts in Japan

On the afternoon of the 19th of August, 2011, Secretary General of DDM Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF), Venerable Guo Qi, and Vice President of DDM General Association of Dharma Supporters, Mr. Chu-Qi Huang, attended a tea party held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the Taipei Guest House in Taipei City.

The purpose of the tea party was to express the government’s deepest gratitude to Taiwan’s non-profit organizations, including DDMSWCF, which has given selfless contributions to the victims of the deadly earthquake hitting northern Japan in early March this year.

In addition to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Chin-Tien Yang, also present were the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Mr. Ying-Jeou Ma, and the Premier of the Executive Yuan, Mr. Den-Yih Wu, who wished to offer their gratitude.
