DDMSWCF Holds Four-Day Summer Camp at Mianyang High School
Commencing on the 26th of July 2011, Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) held a four-day summer camp at Mianyang High School of northern Sichuan, China.
The purpose of holding the camp was to introduce some of the ideas related to ‘Protecting the Spiritual Environment’. These ideas, put forward by the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen, are actively promoted for peace in society, advancing one’s character and to instruct and provide students with methods on how to approach the questions with a positive attitude.
Vice Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain, Venerable Guo Pin also attended the camp, to encourage the students to explore how they value life and its meaning throughout the four-day program.
