Abbot President Attends the Celebration for ROC Centennial Peace Day and Prays for Global Peace
On the evening of 23 August, 2011, Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain, Venerable Guo Dong, attended the celebrations for the Republic of China (Taiwan) Centenary Peace Day conducted at the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center in Kaohsiung City.
Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong, President of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Mr. Ying-Jeou Ma, and Founder of Fo Guang Shan, Venerable Xin Yun, attended the celebration and prayed for peace in Taiwan and throughout the world.
