DDMSWCF Shares Global Charities Works at ROC’s Centenary Democratic Forum
Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) was invited to attend the Centenary Democratic Forum of Republic of China (Taiwan) co-hosted by the Council for Cultural Affairs of Executive Yuan and the Republic of China (Taiwan) Centenary Foundation.
On the afternoon of 17 June 2011, Executive Director of DDMSWCF, Hung-Chi Chiang, shared its works and experience on global charities with other non-governmental organizations in the forum held at the Regent Hotel in Taipei.
Executive Director Chiang said DDMSWCF believes in the values of love, respect, and tolerance in treatment of every suffering life in line with the ideas and teachings of the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen.
DDMSWCF believes that true caring can only be extended through educating people to heal their shattered spirits, restore broken ethics and moral order, which is inherent in everyone.
