Welcome to the 16th IABS Conference
On 20 June, 2011, the 16th International Association of Buddhist Studies (IABS) Conference, co-hosted for the first time by the Dharma Drum Buddhist College and Chung-Hwa Institute of Buddhist Studies, will commence at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education in Jinshan District, New Taipei City.
Approximately 600 Buddhist scholars from around the world will be attending to present their papers.
President of Dharma Drum Buddhist College (DDBC), Venerable Hui Min, said with delight that this chance is DDM’s honor and is looking forward to this spectacular conference which will enhance DDM’s capacities in Buddhist studies and exchanges, as well nurture aspiring talents.
