DDMSWCF Offers Students Financial Support in Nantou
On 14 May, 2011, ‘The Peace of Mind Relief Station in Nantou’ of Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) initiated an event, offering financial support to Nantou students who are financially disadvantaged.
A total of 91 students were granted the privilege of being on-stage, with the blessings of the families and volunteers in the audience. Amongst recipients were12 college students, 20 senior high school students, 23 junior high school students, and 36 primary school students.
Always having gratitude in one’s heart and unselfishly treating others with affection would do no harm but enable one to be blessed and live in peace, said Venerable Guo Yun smilingly. It was followed by several students sharing their stories and expressing their gratitude on-stage.
The event was wrapped up by a group picture, in which everyone joined their palms, being taken.
