Kaohsiung’s Ziyun Monastery Offers Financial Help to Students

On 24 April 2011, Ziyun Monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain in Kaohsiung City hosted a special event in which a total of 164 financially disadvantaged students received financial help.

The activity started with prayers for the tsunami-afflicted people and their beloved families in Japan. Director of Ziyun Monastery, Venerable Guo Yao firstly offered her warmest blessing to all students and their families, wishing them peace and happiness.

She then encouraged students to nurture positive living skills and attitude, to have gratitude at heart at all times, and to bravely pursue their dreams through diligence, steadfastness and hard work.
