DDMSWCF Offers Financial Assistance to Linbian Students
On 10 April 2011, Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation offered financial assistance to a total of 177 disadvantaged students from the Linbian District of Kaohsiung City. Various interesting and entertaining activities were organized for students and their families.
The event was hosted by DDMSWCF’s the Peace of Mind Relief Station in Linbian at the Kaohsiung Ecological Resort Farm. Vice Secretary General and Venerable Chang Fa were amongst the attendees of this event offering their warmest blessing and encouragement.
Venerable Chang Fa commenced by wishing every student health and prosperity. She encouraged students to bravely pursue their dreams without fear and hesitation in spite of difficulties that lies ahead, and most importantly, to always pay gratitude to those who have give support.
The event concluded by Venerable Chang Fa and the students making great vows together, and praying for peace, particularly for the tsunami-afflicted people in Japan.
