DDM Hosts a Dharma Assembly to Pray for Tsunami Victims in Japan
On 20 March 2011, a special Dharma assembly was simultaneously hosted by every branch monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) across Taiwan. The assembly was specially held to pray for the victims of the tsunami and the dead in northern Japan.
DDM said that besides chanting ‘The Compassion Mantra’ in prayer for the victims, funds raised in the assembly across the island will be donated for those in need of relief in Japan.
