Secretary General of DDHSIF receives high recognition for his commitment to humanitarian efforts
In the afternoon of 12 November, 2009, Secretary General of Dharma Drum Humanities and Social Improvement Foundation (DDHSIF), Dr. Shen-Yi Lee, was presented with an award from the Federation of Non-Profit Association for his long-term commitment to humanitarian efforts in Taiwan at Taipei’s the Grand Hotel.
Dr. Lee said despite the recognition from the award, it was also the beginning of his commitment to shouldering more responsibilities. He went on to say that DDHSIF will strive to pool more resources to actively promote the ideas of Six Ethics of the Mind initiated by the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen and other humanitarian services for the sake of social harmony.
