DDMSWCF provides disaster relief in Manila

The relief team of Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) headed to the capital of Philippines, Manila, to offer relief materials and spiritual care for those affected by Typhoon Ketsana that flooded the region, causing severe causalities in late September.

The head of the relief team, Mr. Zhaosong Zeng, said that the relief materials, including mosquito tents, drinking water and food, would primarily be given to those living in the suburb districts of Manila City.

In addition, the team will also visit Kasarinlan Elementary School and Maypajo Integrated School in Caloocan City and offer financial aid to the students.
