One of Taiwan's leading computer company donates money to support DDM's work in Sichuan

Following months of a fundraising campaign, The Quanta Culture and Education Foundation donated NT $9 million to Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) on 6 June 2008 to uphold DDM's humanitarian relief work in China's quake-ruined areas.

The Quanta Culture and Education Foundation, founded by Quanta Computer, initiated the fundraising campaign within the company after the earthquake struck the Sichuan Province.

In return, Venerable Master Sheng Yen issued a letter of appreciation as an expression of DDM's most sincere gratitude to Quanta's compassion and support.

Furthermore, Quanta Computer has been passionately participating in DDM's efforts to support the second phase of reconstruction and relief works in Sichuan which are about to unfold.

In addition to financial support, The Quanta Foundation has also signed a memorandum with DDM in the hope that the NT$9 million will be efficiently managed in Sichuan.
