DDMSWCF’s first batch of relief supplies arrives in Haiti

On the afternoon of 18 January, 2010, DDMSWCF’s 1,621 cartons of relief supplies, including cookies, medications, medical masks and medicated soaps, were airlifted by the air freighter arranged by Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Haiti’s disaster areas.

Thanks to the self-sacrificing volunteers across the island, relief supplies were speedily collected and packed to be delivered. Secretary General Venerable Guo Qi stated that Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) will continue to work closely with the government in order to offer needed assistance to the quake survivors and to bring peace to Haitians.

DDMSWCF has initiated a fundraising campaign for the survivors of Haiti.
