The 6th Seminar of Master Sheng Yen’s Thoughts, organized by the Sheng Yen Education Foundation and the Dharma Drum Mountain sangha, will take place at GIS NTU Convention Center from July 1 (Friday) to July 3 (Sunday). The agenda and application form (Chinese and English) are now available on line for people to download and register. Persons interested in Buddhist research and Dharma study are welcome to join the seminar and interact with the attending scholars.

The Sheng Yen Education Foundation announced that the Seminar, entitled “Chinese Buddhism and Master Sheng Yen’s Thoughts in the Contexts of Historical Imagination and Modern Language,” will feature 56 dissertations, six keynote lectures, and three forums: Medical and Buddhist Studies, Buddhism in Recent and Modern Times, and Buddhist Economics. Over a hundred experts and scholars specialized in Chinese Buddhism from home and abroad will attend the seminar.
To help protect the environment, the agenda for the seminar and the manual will be provided in electronic form only, as advocated by Master Sheng Yen, founder of Dharma Drum Mountain.
