DDM Donates Drysuits to Help Rescuers
After realizing that rescuers lack drysuits when proceeding with the search and rescue mission for the crashed TransAsia Flight GE235, the Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain, Ven. Guo Dong, soon designated DDMSWCF to donate 6 drysuits to the Disaster Emergency Operation Center of Taipei City on the evening of Feb. 6, 2015.
The Secretary General of DDMSWCF, Ven. Guo Qi, indicated that DDM hoped to express its care and concern to the incident by the donation of drysuits and secure the rescuers in the process of the search and rescue mission; he also conveyed the care of the Abbot President to the rescuers that they can take care of themselves on duty.
