Registration of the 12th DDM Awakening Camp Begins!
The DDM Awakening Camp is for those who wish to experience the monastic life for a short period of time. Dharma Drum Sangha University (DDSU) welcomes everyone who meets the registration requirements to sign up for the 12th Awakening Camp to experience monastic spiritual life. The duration for this camp is 11 days, from January 31 through February 10, 2015 at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education (DDMWCBE).
Please note that participants will be ordained and are expected to observe the etiquettes and daily routine of DDM Sangha. In addition, participants will be given guidance on the Buddhist view of life, chanting, precepts, Chan meditation, etc., as well as ponder and reflect on the value and direction of life.
