Dharma Drum Mountain Prays for Blessings for Those Suffered from the Severe Gas Explosion in Cianjhen District of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan
On the very early morning of August 1st, 2014, a deadly gas explosion almost destroyed a downtown district of Kaohsiung situated in the southern Taiwan. The explosion shortly caused a series of explosions that killed at least 24 people and injured 271 people.
After knowing the situation, Dharma Drum Mountain and its affiliates immediately hold Dharma assemblies and other activities to pray for blessings for the deceased, injured and their family members. Here DDM encourages everyone from all walks of the society to jointly pray for blessings for those who are suffered from the disaster.
