DDMSWCF Conducts Ceremony to Encourage Financially Disadvantaged Students
On 27 April 2013, the Dharma Drum Mountain Social Welfare and Charity Foundation (DDMSWCF) hosted an event to encourage and to offer stipends to financially disadvantaged students at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education.
DDM’s Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong attended to offer his warmest blessings and speak words of encouragement. The purpose of the ceremony was to assist financially disadvantaged students and families to stand firm on their feet against daily challenges, and to instill into them a positive mind and attitude.
