DDBC’s students visit Wanli’s aged care facility to deliver love and blessings

On the afternoon of 9 January 2013, students of the Dharma Drum Buddhist College (DDBC) went to an aged care facility in the Wanli District of New Taipei City to visit and offer residents at the home DDM Sangha blessing for 2013.

The event began by leading 50 elderly people in a prayer ritual, followed by wishing every one of them peace and health throughout the New Year. In addition to offering care to the elderly, a variety of programs were also prepared for their entertainment and spiritual support.

Shao-Ding Yeh, a student at DDBC, stated that “bringing the Dharma into daily life is our goal and we wish that people in need can receive love and joy from the Dharma.”
