Groundbreaking Ceremony at Minxin High School for a New Library
On 28 June, 2012, Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain Venerable Guo Dong attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a new library benefacted by DDM at Minxin High School of Shuxue Township, Sichuan.
Minxin High School was one of the first sites that DDM fled to for humanitarian support after the devastating earthquake that struck northern Sichuan in May 2008. Thus, the ceremony for the opening of the new 890 square meter two-storey building held a special meaning for both DDM and Minxin.
