DDM World Center hosts a Summer Camp

The DDM World Center for Buddhist Education hosted a four-day summer camp from 12th to 16th July 2012. The camp gave 150 children an opportunity to experience Chan joy, to sense mindful tranquility and learn more about Buddhism.

The program included energetic sessions on Buddhist Etiquette, Little Chan Master, and Protecting the Spiritual Environment. The students participated through specially organized games were they were inspired to understand compassion, to cultivate self-merit by doing good to others and to experience mindful peace that would help one acquire wisdom.

DDM hopes that every student is to be a little Bodhisattva volunteer after the four-day program to continue to spread the idea of Protecting the Spiritual Environment across Taiwan.
