DDM Prays for the Success of the Shuiyue Practice Center at Nung Chan Monastery
On the morning of 6 May 2012, Nung Chan Monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain held a special Dharma Prayer Ceremony to wish for the success in settling the main structural beam of the new Shuiyue Practice Center in Taipei.
DDM Venerables conducted a grand purification ritual for the main beam amidst the loud and devoted chanting of the Great Compassion Mantra. They slowly handed the long red ribbon with the Chinese character for 'Buddha' to the center's construction engineers.
Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong said that the Shuiyue Practice Center of Nung Chan Monastery was near completion, with the exception of some interior design and the surrounding environment yet to be cleaned. The new center will further the services of Nung Chan Monastery for all faithful believers.
