Abbot President Presents the ‘Six Ethics of the Mind’ at the Third Word Buddhist Forum
Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong attended the Third World Buddhist Forum held from 25 to 27 April 2012 in Hong Kong to present the ‘Six Ethics of the Mind’. This concept was initially promoted for social peacefulness by the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen.
The main theme of the forum was ‘Common Aspirations and Actions towards a Harmonious World’ where Buddhist leaders, scholars and experts from over 60 countries and regions were invited.
In addition to presenting paper, the Abbot President was expected to meet with local DDM volunteers to provide support and encouragement for their ongoing commitment and dedication to DDM and to conduct a Refuge-Taking Ceremony.
