Abbot President Encourages the Team of Lecturers for the Six Ethics of the Mind in Kaohsiung

The Dharma Drum Mountain Humanities and Social Improvement Foundation formed a dedicated team of instructors to present the Six Ethics of the Mind in Kaohsiung City.

Training courses held for the team kicked off at Kaohsiung’s Ziyun Monastery of Dharma Drum Mountain, hosted by Abbot President Venerable Guo Dong on 7 April, 2012. Secretary General of the DDMHSIF, Dr. Shen-I Lee, also attended to offer his warmest blessings.

According to the DDMSHIF, 30 hours of training courses have been scheduled, aiming to qualify the group’s students in broadcasting the idea of ‘Protecting the Spiritual Environment’ in southern Taiwan for the public’s benefit.

The Abbot President was grateful to every student who showed great compassion in joining the efforts of DDM for the fulfillment of ‘building a pure land on earth’. He encouraged students to bring the Six Ethics of the Mind, a valuable legacy left by the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen, to every corner of the society with compassion and the dharma wisdom in mind.
