DDSU Holds Two-Day Monastic Camp

To help examinees have a better understanding and appreciation of the Dharma Drum Sangha University (DDSU) and their possibly upcoming monastic life there, the DDSU specially held a two-day monastic camp at the DDM World Center for Buddhist Education from the 16th to the 18th March, 2012.

The 2012 admission examination of DDSU is scheduled to be held on 15 June. The camp had a fairly comprehensive program which included a deeper insight and understanding of Chan meditation, work practice, and chanting, thus giving examinees a real feel and taste of the inspiring lifestyle that they could lead at the DDSU.

In the two-day program, examinees had the opportunity to renew their own conviction and purity of heart to strive towards release and enlightenment within a simple and peaceful environment there.
