Abbot President Encourages All to Walk on the Bodhisattva Path Diligently
On the 19th of February 2012, the Abbot President, Venerable Guo Dong, attended an assembly of the Dharma Practice Society of Dharma Drum Mountain at the Baoyun Monastery in Taichung.
His visit was to have an opportunity to meet with society members and offer his encouragement and support as well as his blessings.
In his speech, Venerable Guo Dong encouraged the attendees to walk the Bodhisattva Path everyday with diligence and sincerity.
“Wisdom and compassion needs to be nurtured daily using always the Dhamma as the guiding light”, he advised. He also encouraged every attendee to walk the Bodhisattva Path, fulfilling the ideas of ‘Protecting the Spiritual Environment’ with an altruistic mind for promoting peace and compassion.
