DDM Displays the Art of Chan at the Taipei International Book Exhibition 2012
The DDM Cultural Center participated in the 20th Taipei International Book Exhibition at the Taipei World Trade Center from 1 - 6 February, 2012, whereby DDM showed visitors the art of Chan with its publications and eco-friendly products.
Venerable Guo Xian, Managing Director of DDM Cultural Center explained that the theme of DDM’s participation in the book fair, ‘Living Art of Chan: Protecting the Spiritual Environment’ is in line with the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen’s advocacy of ‘Protecting the Spiritual Environment’ – which also celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. It is also in accordance with the exhibition’s theme of ‘Eco Reading’, set by the hosting organization.
