DDM Malaysia Hosts the Dharma Assembly in Celebration of Vesak Day

On 24th May 2013, Dharma Drum Mountain in Malaysia (DDM Malaysia) held a Dharma Assembly in celebration of Vesak Day, which was attended by more than two hundred people.

The program for the day included chanting Buddhist scriptures, bathing the Buddha’s statue and prostrations to the Buddha. Candles were also lit and held in the hands of the participants, symbolizing the act of aspiring towards goodness and enlightenment.

The assembly concluded with venerables of DDM Malaysia offering their warmest blessings to every participant.
