DDM Malaysia Celebrates its Tenth Anniversary
Dharma Drum Mountain Buddhism Information Centre in Malaysia (DDM Malaysia) has propagated Chinese Buddhism for ten years and in particular, the idea of ‘building a pure land on earth’, as well as the Six Ethics of the Mind.
To celebrate this remarkable anniversary, DDM Malaysia specially hosted a gala party in the Wang Yuehai Auditorium of Kuala Lumpur on 13 November, 2009, to thank all volunteers and upholders for their lasting and dedicated contributions.
The Drum Team of DDM’s Dharma Practice Society in Taiwan was first invited to unveil the party with its exciting performances, followed by the viewing of the filmed Dharma talk by the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen on Dharma joy.
The atmosphere of the party was joyful and there was a variety of inspirational programs available. To conclude the party, everyone delightedly made good vows with the purposes of practicing the power of virtue in society and ‘building a pure land on earth’.
