“Fall Break” Sunday Meditation Sessions led by Guo Sheng Fashi and Chang Yu Fashi

1. Sunday, September 21, 9:15 am-9:45 am: Short Introduction to Meditation

Description: Guo Sheng Fashi will be conducting an Introduction to Meditation for those who are new to meditation. At this time, Fashi will introduce the brief basics of meditation, including posture and basic methods of relaxation and sitting meditation.

2. Sunday September 21, 10:00 am -3:00pm: Sunday Meditation Half Day Retreat

Description: Take time out from your busy schedule and rejuvenate with relaxing periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation periods, and gentle moving exercise. Morning meditation will be followed by a complementary vegetarian lunch. In the afternoon, there will be a Q and A in the afternoon with GuoSheng Fashi, and some periods of meditation and mindfulness exercises. Suited to both beginners with some meditation experience and intermediate practitioners of meditation.

Note: Those who no prior background in meditation and have attended the Short Introduction to Meditation are welcome to stay for the second session from 10 am – 3 pm

Both sessions are a rare and golden opportunity to raise questions about your meditative practice with both Fashis.
