DDM Singapore Holds Three-Day Prayer Dharma Ritual

Dharma Drum Singapore held the three-day Prayer Dharma Ritual between the 12th and the 14th of April 2012 in remembrance of the Buddha’s compassion.

Managing Director of Dharma Drum Singapore, Venerable Guo Chien, said in his Dharma talk that chanting the Buddha’s name helps us to nurture compassion, reflect on mistakes and transmitting merit. In doing this, we can contribute to protecting the spiritual environment and building a pure land on earth.

Venerable Guo Chien added that chanting also enables us to manage our easily unsettled mind in stressful environments, thus heightening our capability of self-awareness and mindfulness.
