On the night of June 8 2007, DDM Michigan launched its two-day camp at the Metteyya Buddha Village, the practice site for followers of DDM Michigan. This is the second year that DDM has hosted the touring family camp in the United States, with Michigan as the first stop. The camp activities were led by four of DDM's Venerables from Taiwan.

On the evening of 31 March 2007, a fund-raising music concert was specially hosted by Dharma Drum Mountain in Malaysia.
On May 1, 2007, Guo Ming Fashi, abbot of the Chan Meditation Center, and resident nuns Guo Chian Fashi and Chang Wu Fashi were invited by the Global Peace Initiative of Women to attend a private reception for Venerable Tenzin Palmo in Manhattan.
Venerable Guo Qian specially arrived in Chicago from Dharma Drum Mountain’s Chan Meditation Center in New York to give the Dharma Talk on a topic of “A Spiritual Feast of Chan” from 25 to 27 May 2007.
Venerable Ji Cheng from Malaysia was invited to give a three-day dharma talk in Seattle from 12 to 14 April by DDM Seattle. Much wisdom of dharma was cultivated under the Venerable's inspirational guidance.
Two of Venerable Master Sheng Yen’s English publications, “The 108 Adages of Wisdom” and “The Bodhisattva Precepts” will be published by the Trailokya Buddha Ma-hasangha Shayak Gana (TBMSG) in India.
After much preparation, DDM Singapore hosted Dharma Talks over two days on the 9 and 10 March 2007.
From 1 to 7 March 2007, five Venerables and six young delegates from Dharma Drum Mountain attended the “Sudan Youth Peace Dialogue” at the Gallmann Africa Conservancy in the Laikipia District of northern Kenya. They included Venerable Guo Guang, Venerable Guo Chan, Venerable Chang Ji, Venerable Chang Wu, Venerable Chang Wen, Hsieh Sufei, Lin Liting, Wang Zhengqiao, Zhang Weiqi, Huang Boren, and Li Shiying.
Venerable Guo Jian gave a talk on 'The Twelve Links of Dependent Origination' to the members of DDM Sydney on 17 February 2007.

One of the largest displays of Buddha images ever seen in Australia has been assembled to celebrate 2550 years of Buddhism. The Exhibition showcases an extensive array of compassionate images of Buddha, Bodhisattvas and other Buddhist traditional iconographies. These images will provide an insight into the religious, historical and cultural aspects of Buddhism in Australia.
Six years ago, Dharma Drum Mountain opened in Portland, Oregon. DDM Portland has greatly expanded over this time, due in no small part to the enthusiastic support of Li Guocun, Deng Yinying, Li Xianhsin, Lin Powen and Chen Ruijuan. Furthermore, as of February this year, DDM Portland even has a permanent location, thanks to the house that Li Guocun has most generously donated.
